This blog is the place to find up-to-date commentary and news about what’s happening with Zeetix. It’s intended to be a behind-the-scenes look at what we’re doing and why. Think of this as the “Special Features” section of a DVD, where you get to meet the players and see how we work.

It’s also a bit like a reality TV show. I’ll be blogging about what I’m doing and how I’m doing it. A web strategy is a lot like a music performance or a theater production. It starts with a “patron” — the client — who wants a particular kind of show, piece of music, or movie. The client decides whether he or she wants jazz or classical, an action movie or a love story, a drama or a comedy.

It needs a conductor and composer (that’s me), a score, skilled performers, and a host of people and companies who — when the job is done right — the audience is never even aware of until they read the program or watch the credits roll at the end of the movie.

For better or worse, a blog like this is also your very best way to learn — in real time — how I work, and how the people I work with work. So it’s surely a marketing effort. You’ll get to know me, you’ll get to know the people who make me successful (and who I help succeed), and you’ll get to know some of our customers.
